Unboxing Recent Packages & Subscription Boxes

In the Mail Packages Haul
I unboxed these generous packages from Influenster, Beauty Box 5, Wantable and Valia.
In the interest of full disclosure, please note that I did not purchase any of the packages myself. They were either sent by a PR/brand for review consideration or for sampling and/or testing purposes. As always, I have no obligation to mention any of the following products or brands. I receive a lot of PR pitches and offers daily and I only accept offers from brands that I am genuinely interested in trying and using.

As you can see, there are quite a few things to be covered. I will only preview them. If you see anything that especially interests you, please let me know and I will try to write up a thorough review as soon as possible. It can take me some time to test out all the products, so reviews may get published very quickly (or at all) unless they are specifically requested.

Valia Skincare Travel Set
I was so excited when I saw this package that I immediately instagramed and tweeted it. The packaging was lovely and it included a skincare gift set and a travel kit.

Valia Skincare Gift Set
Even the inside of the box was beautiful! Inside the large kit were the Valia Purifying Wash, Hydrating Creme and Supplements.

I honestly hadn’t heard of Valia until Mario approached me about it. I am really glad I looked into the brand because it is absolutely amazing. Valia is inspired by traditional Japanese remedies that focus on holistic healing. I can’t wait to add Valia to my skincare regime. Definitely expect a thorough review!

Beauty Box 5 Unboxing
Beauty Box 5 is a monthly subscription service that delivers a package of sample and full sized products to your door monthly.

Beauty Box 5 Unboxing
My box included face mask, eyeliner, body scrub, eyeshadow and mineral highlight. While I like all the product included, I wasn’t impressed with any of them.

For $12 a month, I think beauty box five could include one star or popular brand product. Subscription boxes are a great way to try new things, but there is a lot of competition nowadays with so many sample box companies opening. Beauty Box 5 is one of the more affordable subscription boxes.

Wantable Box Jewelry and Accessories
Wantable Box is a monthly subscription box that has both beauty and accessories items.

I really like Wantable. You get the option to choose either a beauty box or an accessories box. As I have too many beauty products, I opted for the accessories box. (I have a lot of that too, but it’s not like jewelry can go bad!) The items included are customized according to your personality quiz. The jewelry I received aren’t exactly things I would pick out for myself, but I definitely grew attached. I particularly love headbands and I am in love with the included golden headband. I have so many headbands and they all slip, but this one does not! That alone kind of made me love Wantable.

Influenster Good Life VoxBox
Influenster Good Life VoxBox includes a myriad of health goods.

If you didn’t know, Influenster is a little community of reviewers. Anyone can join and every once in a while, they will send you some products to test. I received the Good Life box this month. Everything included is usable, but nothing really stood out to me except the Garcina Cambogia Extract. I have been wanting to lose some weight, but I think I will have to look into Garcinia Cambogia before taking the extract. It is supposed to control appetite. My appetite is pretty stable, so I don’t know if I need it if that is all it does. If anyone has tried Garcinia, please let me know how it worked for you.

Ceniore Beaute Bar
Ceniore Beaute Bar
A special shout out goes out to the Cenoire Beaute Bar, which I’m honestly still trying to figure out. It’s 24k gold plated and has a battery included to help massage creams into the skin. It sounds very promising and I am trying to use it diligently, so I’ll report back if anything comes from it.

Disclosure: I received the aforementioned products for review or testing consideration. All opinions are my own.
