ReplyDeleteBonnie,
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you dear for being so sweet!
Yo estaba queriendo comprar las Sigma pero no todos los comentarios son buenos y las MAC estan carisimas, me puedo comprar dos o tres por mes. Pero soy recoda jajaja.
ReplyDeletekellyash,
ReplyDeletehaha awww, you can wait for MAC holiday brush sets that are cheaper or use the Sigma coupon code
Great list! Although I like both MAC and Sigma, seems to me that MAC makes one too many brushes for the same purpose eh? hehe..Anyhoo, Thanks for posting this!
ReplyDeleteThis is so helpful...maybe a foundation dupe tooo :) pls...what do you think
ReplyDeleteHi Jojo,
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea. I will look into it and see what I can come up with. :)
I agree with jojo.. very great dupes..hopefully will buy sigma in the future..
ReplyDeletefab work !!
ReplyDeleteBest thing I've found! Good work!
ReplyDeleteHi Katherine and all,
ReplyDeleteI'm in the market for a MAC 130 for foundation/concealer, but I'd rather find a Sigma equivalent...because I've not seen the Sigma F15 (as above) in person, I'm unsure, but just wanted to get your opinion on the following: the Sigma F55 seems to be a closer match (even though it's listed as a MAC 188 dupe - but, as another poster noted, MAC seems to have too many brushes for the same function ); the F15 seems to be more of a powder brush. Also, what do you think about the P80 (see the Sigma website) for a MAC 130 dupe? Understood that this one has synthetic bristles, vs a blend.
GREAT list, btw...thanks! :o)
The Sigma F55 is somewhat similar to the MAC 130, but it is a little "fluffier" and less tapered at the end. In the end, the functions are close enough. If you are trying to decide between the F15 and F55, I personally prefer the F55. (The F15 is not dense enough for lazy me.)
ReplyDeleteThe P80 is a great brush, but it is very, very small. Imagine the size of a regular eye brush. Despite that, it can very accurately blend in concealer or any foundation around the eye area. My most recommended foundation brush will always be the Sigma F80. It applies powder and liquid equally well. It is similar to the P80 but normal face brush size.
omg this is the best guide ever! thank you! im new to makeup and just starting to buy brushes this will definatly gear me toward the right ones. esp. the sigmas that are dupes of the mac limited editions
