Beauty Favorites 2011

Chanel Teint Innocence
I am not quite sure if this is an all-time favorite or if I am just missing the heck out of this because Chanel has discontinued it this year. Regardless, one of my biggest regrets of 2011 is Chanel replacing my Teint Innocence. This foundation will always have a special place in my heart. If you are looking for comparable foundation, check out Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. It’s way thicker, but the finish is similar.

Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pad
I can’t believe I’ve never mentioned these before, but they are the best face self-tanners I have ever used! The color is excellent and natural-looking – plus it exfoliates and has vitamin D! The scent isn’t anything to write home about, but that’s a small trade off for the best facial self-tanner I’ve come across yet!

Everyday Minerals Snuggle Blush
I didn’t think I would find my beloved blusher in a few dollars mineral brand, but behold: my favorite blusher of the 2011 year. Snuggle gives a radiant pink glow that matches my skin perfectly. It makes me feel light and natural, yet dolled up and ready to snuggle.

Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss
I am still new to Jouer lip glosses, but they’ve far exceeded my expectations. In fact, their beautifully shimmering and understated glitters, long-lasting yet non-sticky texture, and moisturizing formula is something I’ve been craving from lip glosses in years. Thank you Jouer for perfecting my everyday nude gloss.

Nude Skincare Cleansing Facial Oil
This cleansing facial oil takes my makeup off completely so I don’t need to add any extra steps in my skincare routine. The best part is that it leaves my skin completely clear and feeling revived and soft.

Sigma Makeup Brush Kits
Sigma has come out with about 10 different collections this year. I can’t really decide on a single item, but I am a huge fan of their recent brush collections. I love the Bunny Collection (vegan brushes!) and the Extravaganza Collections (the fan brush I’ve always wanted!), but also very much like the Pink Tokyo Kit as it is pink and limited edition – and I have a soft spot for those!

Thank you for journeying through all the beauty adventures with me. I look forward to a fantastic 2012 with you all!
