Dr.’s Remedy Summer 2011 Nail Polish Collection

Dr.'s Remedy is a healthier alternative to commercial nail polish. Their enriched nail polishes are perfect for those who suffer from nail fungus, brittle, discolored nails, have an allergy to chemicals in commercial nail polish or are pregnant. Dr.'s REMEDY is developed by doctors and free from toxins found in most commercial nail polish (DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde).

Dr's Remedy Enriched nail polish contains tea tree oil, vitamins and wheat protein to nourish and protect.

My favorite thing about these nail lacquers has to be the brush. It is so smooth and makes for the easiest application. I can see myself saving these applicators to use in place of the ones that come with my OPI or Essie polish. Dr.’s Remedy nail polishes dry much quicker than normal polishes. The lasting power is also pretty good. I wore Tranquil for 5 days on my hands without chip (and I'm pretty rough with my hands).

Summer 2011 Collection includes:
Lovely Lavender: a pale purple with matte depth and charm
Glee Gold: a shimmer-infused coin of perfection
Tranquil Tangerine: a bold, but wonderfully-wearable, slice of juicy delight
Bold Baby Blue: an aqua-meets-turquoise take on every body's favorite color
Nurture Nude Pink: a delicate, damsel-indistress barely-there beautiful

View more photos and swatches below. I apologize for the sloppy application as I was pretty out of it that day.

Lovely Lavender photographs quite blue, but is truly a lovely lavender in real life.

Glee Gold is a lovely sheer glitter polish that be built up into a dark gold or layered over other colors.

Tranquil Tangerine is a beautiful, bright color that is perfect for the summer.

Bold Baby Blue has such beautiful shimmer with just the right tone of aqua.

Nurture Nude Pink is a lovely, sheer yet buildable pink nude. As you can see, I've used quite a bit up already.

I love most of the colors, but have been using Nurture Nude Pink most often. Nude pink is a very modern varnish color and great for school or the office. Dr.’s Remedy Enriched Nail Polish is available for $17 online at www.remedynails.com.

  1. I never thought about using natural polishes, but this does seem like a safe bet for pregnant women. Will definitely keep this brand in mind!
