Sigma Performance Eyes Kit Review

The Performance Eyes Kit contains eight new eye makeup brushes and was designed for precise application of liquid, cream and powder products onto defined areas of the eyes. The brushes are sold only in this kit, so you can't buy them separately - yet. It's unfortunate that the brushes are not sold individually because even though $55 is a decent price for eight quality brushes, I wouldn't say that all of the brushes are worthwhile.

My favorite brushes are the E16 Tightliner Liner brush and the E11 Eyeliner brush. (Is it obvious that I'm an eyeliner kind of girl?) The brushes really help me make me eyeliner thin and natural-looking. Anyway, most of the brushes are just miniature versions of their original eye brush, which is good for precision, but unnecessary if you already have the larger brush set. For example, the E36 Blending brush is almost identical to the E35 except that it is less dense and feels much flimsier.

Waterline Liner E17 Perfectly applies cream, gel and powder formulas on the lower lid waterline.

Eye Liner E11 For precise lining of upper and lower lash lines. Creates detailed and elaborate looks.

Shader Inner Corner E46 Perfect for application of highlight shades in the inner corner of the eyes.

Blending E36 Precise blending of powder products on small areas, such as the inner corner of the eyes.

Shader Lid E56 Precise application of pressed and loose eye shadow onto the lid.

Shader Crease E47 For applying and blending darker shades onto the crease.

Smudge E21 Soften harsh lines on the upper and lower lash lines.

Tightline Liner E16 Ideal for application of cream, gel and powder formulas on the upper lash line.
