Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint SPF15 Review and Swatch

Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint SPF15 in Bare 01
The perfect way to enhance your skin. Our rich and creamy, yet lightweight formula leaves all skin types looking naturally dewy, even and radiant. With mineral UV SPF15, it’s enriched with our own blend of natural source vitamin E, borage and avocado, specially selected to work in harmony with our skincare range.

The Liz Earle Skin Tint is lightweight despite its initial thick texture. It is sheer enough to target only trouble areas without the need to spread evenly across the face. It leaves a fresh and dewy finish - with a decent but not great coverage. The coverage isn't quite buildable because applying too much of this will cause a white cast (probably from the mineral SPF). The formulation is somewhat between a tinted moisturizer and a foundation. This is my foundation of choice for days that I am in a hurry and want to look decent without looking made up.

Unfortunately, this skin tint only comes in three shades: bare, beige and beach. I have a feeling that I am somewhere between bare and beige, but I am sticking to bare for the winter. Despite it not matching my skin color completely, I am fan of the undertone as I find it quite flattering.

What foundation do you use for winter?

  2. The Clinique is actually not darker when applied, but the tone is a poor match for my hand so it appears to stand out more.

  5. its a good skin tint especially for winters as it is so creamy and has spf 15 which is good enough and the bare is equally good on my face even though I have wheatish complexion!!! I loved this :)
