Beauty Break Time: How much eyeliner is too much?

As with all makeup, you can certainly chalk on too much eyeliner. But where do we draw the line between just right and too much? Dramatic smokey eyes and dark kohl liner looks can be seen on runways, magazines, celebrities, and just about everywhere these days. What do you consider acceptable?

  1. I think I wear more eyeliner than the average person. Personally, I like the look of dark, heavy, smoky eyeliner. I use a pencil first, then I go over it with powder eyeshadow and pack it on with an eyeliner brush.

  5. I prefer a thin line for day and a little thicker for night. The whole raccoon eye doesn't work for me.

I always preferred a thick line because it always gives you a stronger look. I think a good thick liner can work for both day and night. The color can make the look or destroy it! lol Sometimes a dark color will simply not work for the day but if you choose a nice light color you can definitely do the thick line and it will look awesome! =D

  7. If you have small eyes like me a thick line can make them stand out and make them look really beautiful if you add a small winged line at the ends.
Punk eyes/ raccoon eyes are not daily wearable and doesn't look good on all!

  8. It depends:
During the day I like fine eyeliner (dark brown) without a flick
At night: black eyeliner and a small flick ;)

  9. I think it just depends on the individual...the "raccoon" can be a bit much, but it's a very dramatic look on the runways

  11. I love eyeliner, i proper cake it on. I love the different ways of wearing eyeliner also. I think i have went a bit trend crazy as i'vve started wearing to different colours at the one time. I think the key thing for me is finding a good eyeliner that stays on and doesn't smudge

  12. the only make up i do everyday is my eye liner haha, i think for the day, it's better if you don't make it thick and quite dramatic unless you're going to a function based on fashion or something, when it comes to night, it's up to you! :) x

  14. I like to use eyeshadow sometimes as eye liner. Its softer and makes your lashes look bigger and its not too dramatic. But use a pencil or something on you bottom lid
