Liz Earle Botanical Shine Treatment

I don't know how I managed to keep this a secret, but it's about time I rave about my favorite hair care product! I was sent the Liz Earle Botanical Shine Treatment for frizzy, coarse or unruly hair a while back and have been using it religiously for over two months. I love it! I am on my way to ordering a new tube for Liz Earle. After the very first time I used this treatment, I was absolutely amazed at how smooth my hair had become. And I love the earthly herbal, citrus scent to death! The smell lingers in the hair for a bit, but I wish it would last forever! I find myself sniffing my hair from time to time to get a whiff of this stuff. It's really that good.

Liz Earle Botanical Shine Treatment Review
A blend of red algae, cotton extract and sumac wax has been specially selected to smooth and tame even the most unmanageable hair, and an exquisite fusion of eight essential oils, including sweet orange and rose-scented geranium, plus vanilla extract, will leave your hair beautifully scented. Naturally active ingredients include red algae to help enhance the hair’s natural barrier, cotton extract to improve smoothness and sumac wax to smooth and tame even the most unmanageable hair, plus apple and orange extracts to boost shine.

At the cost of $27.50 for a 5 fl oz tube, it's pretty pricey, but worth the price if it works for you. I have been using this stuff twice a week, every week. When my new tube arrives I will reduce the usage to cut the cost and make the product more effective. I have noticed that after using it so often, the treatment has become less effective. It's always a good idea to try to switch up skincare and hair care products so the my body does not get used to the products, rendering them ineffective.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Review

I have been wanting to try the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser ever since I heard Vivianna rave about Liz Earle skincare.
I received a starter kit that contained the Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, two Muslin Cloths, and a bag. I admire the minimally classy packaging and the whole feel of the brand. Before I go into details and review of the cleanser and brand as a whole, I just want to let you know that I am in love with the Liz Earle Muslin Cloth! It is made of pure cotton, so it isn't an amazingly unique item... but oh, Liz Earle definitely sold me on this product for life. I don't know how I allowed myself to live my entire life without it! Let me explain: To clean, you apply the cleanser on your face, warm the cloth with warm/hot water and then wipe your face. The feeling of the hot cloth on your face is the most beautiful feeling ever! I almost didn't want to take it off. I swear, the first time I put that hot cloth on my face, I closed my eyes and wanted to lie down. It was like going to a spa. Liz Earle or not, do try the whole hot towel on your face technique. (But be careful because you want it hot, but not burning hot.) What better way to end an evening then relaxing your makeup off your face?

At first I was a little skeptical about the Muslin Cloth because the cloth seemed tough when dry. Once wet, however, it was soft, lovely and perfect for wiping my face clean. The Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser compliments the cloth well. It feels like moisturizing lotion on my face. It is gentle, yet cleansing when accompanied by the friction of the cloth. It removes the very last smidgen of makeup and makes me feet quite pampered. My face never feels stripped and no cleanser residue sits on my skin. I don't know if it is all in my mind, but I think the cleanser actually makes my face look more radiant and clear! I really, truly, recommend this for those looking for a gentle cleanser, although I recommend using a makeup remover first if you are wearing heavy makeup. You don't want to scrub all of that makeup on your cloth.

Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare is a Great British beauty brand that ships internationally. There are many methods of ordering, including online, in stores and over the phone. You can learn more about various methods or shop directly online by visiting us.lizearle.com or uk.lizearle.com. A starter kit costs $24.50 and includes a 3.3 fluid ounce Hot Cloth Cleanser, two Muslin Cloths, and a pouch to store it all. Considering the cleanser will last a while and the cloths are washable and reusable, that's not a bad deal at all.
