White Christmas Outfit (with a Dash of Red Tights)

It started snowing on Christmas Eve this year for me. It was very fitting that I wore a white dress to the Christmas party that very evening to celebrate the first White Christmas I've witnessed in a long while. My selection that evening was the White Winged Love Dress from ModCloth. I was a bit hesitant at first since the back of this dress is partially open, but the long lace sleeves pulled the look together. The dress had a traditional feel to it, yet was blatantly daring. I forgot to take OOTD pictures before leaving the house, so I am left with the only blurry phone photo I took at the party.

I paired the White Winged Love Dress with red Tabbisocks Opaque Tights (also from ModCloth). I have been waiting for an opportunity to wear these red tights; a Christmas party is the perfect occasion to wear it without standing out too much.

A warning to those interested: This dress is shear in most places and you can't really wear a bra with it as the back is completely open. I had to go with a completely strapless stick on bra just to put some room between the thin fabric and my body. I love the dress but I can't imagine wearing it too often due to all trouble.

On my nails I wore China Glaze Nail Polish in White Love and Pizzazz c/o of Glam Beauty Board. Pizzazz was very thin so I added three layers.
