Sigma Brow and Lashes & Angled Brow Review

Sigma has recently released two new brushes, the Sigma E75 and Sigma E80. I've shared the preview info on Twitter before, but now it's time to release the full review. I think many of us have been anticipating the release of these brushes for quite some time now. Sigma has always offered a plethora of affordable quality brushes. They have been loved for making their versatile professional brushes available to the public. Anything professional makeup artists had the advantage of using, Sigma made accessible and affordable to every day people. It hasn't been until recently, however, that they've developed the most needed brow brushes. And it's about time. Eyebrows are one of the most important features of the face, yet often the most neglected.

The Angled Brow Brush (Sigma E75) is a firm angled brush that is perfect for filling in sparse brows with powder or gel products. Use it in a sketching motion to create a hair-like effect and more defined brow. I often use my angled eyeliner brush and brow brush interchangeably, so this brush isn't a big must have item for me. It does its job well, however, so I now use it as my primary brow brush. Paired with my Anastasia Brow Kit, this brush has made my stubby eyebrows look naturally arch and long.

The Brow and Lash Brush (Sigma E80) is an essential grooming tool for brows and lashes. It is ideal for combing and taming brow hairs while shaping and filling and great for pulling through lashes for separation and exactness. I mostly use it only for my brows (as a good mascara should be separating your lashes well already). At $9, it is cheaper than the other professional brushes. It is easy to clean and doesn't fall apart under soap and water, unlike drugstore brushes I've tried in the past. This is hands down my favorite brush of the set!

  1. I'm kind of surprised Sigma didn't have brow brushes up until now. Seems like a basic brush to have.
