Sigma Beauty eyeshadow bases are now available for pre-order online. These Sigma eye shadow bases officially launch on Monday, February 4th, 2013. Order early to get it before everyone else! (See Sigma coupon codes to save on order.)

The Sigma Beauty Eye Shadow Bases are made with a blendable, smooth formula to achieve a long-wearing and pigmented effect. Each base is designed to reduce surface oil with its water-resistant, silky-smooth and light-weight formula. Each individual Eye Shadow Base costs $13 and each Eye Shadow Kit costs $36.

Sigma Beauty Resort Palette Collection Preview

Sigma Beauty held a Sigma Resort Palette Pre-Launch party earlier this week. To be available this Spring, the Sigma Resort Palette seems to feature bright corals and Spring/Summer appropriate shades of makeup. This Sigma Resort Collection looks and sounds promising. (Coral is one of thoseexciting yet safe colors to play up.) A preview shot of the Sigma Resort Palette was released by Sigma, as can be seen below:

The only unfortunate thing is that the Sigma Resort Palette won't be available until the Spring of 2013! It's coming, but not soon enough. For the time being, however, the Sigma Eyeshadow Bases are available for pre-order on the Sigma website. (Read about it here and order the kits or individual items.)

Another bright side is that the new Sigma coupons are now available.

Three Skincare Favorites January 2013

I received this Amore Pacific moisturizer sample from Sephora a whole back and never got around to using it. I'm glad I have finally gotten to apply it because it's absolutely wonderful! It includes green tea, mushroom extracts, botanicals and the good things in life. The downside? The full size bottle costs hundreds.

This Aura Cacia Sweet Orange essential oil can be used for skincare, bath gel, etc. To make a refreshing mist, add 9 drops of the sweet orange oil, 9 drops lavender, and 1 oz water in a mister or spray bottle.

This Skindanavia Makeup Finishing Spray keeps showing up as a favorite month after month. I prefer very light makeup and almost no powder during the dry, brittle and cold winter months. A few spritz of this stuff keeps my makeup in place all day with no powder required. My skin ends up less dried and more nourished.

My router has been malfunctioning, so I am forced to blog on my phone. (Not quite easy a task as Apple would have one believe.) Once again, I am behind with all my email correspondences. Oops!

Three Things I Like (and one I truly love)

I really enjoy this sturdy golden dachshund ring holder I bought from ModCloth.

I like to switch up tiny rings, but this pyramid ring from DailyLook has been a daily favorite (paired with a ModCloth ring in the right photo).

I've never been a candle person, but this little tea light candle holder I received for Christmas has been keeping my side table lit and warm.

Recently I've been asked why I choose to do Twitter giveaways when many readers don't use Twitter. The answer is that many entrants are suspicious of blog giveaways because they just don't get told when someone wins or who has won. I am still waiting on Boutique to You to stock the smaller sizes of the Sugar Bean Love Ring. As I have been continuously browsing through the Sugar Bean Jewelry line, I've become obsessed with their cute little designs. Sure, most of these are inspired by designer jewelry, but the prices on these inspired pieces are so much more affordable that I can totally excuse the lack of creativity.
